Loranger Door & Window is actively seeking a Service Technician to join our team.

The qualified candidate for this position will assist the Service Manager with servicing, measuring and the installation of doors, windows, and hardware. To be successful in this position, the candidate must have excellent customer service skills, keen organizational skills, and the ability to manage deadline requirements.

Job Duties and Requirements include but not limited to:

1. Making service calls to customers for window, door, and hardware repair.
2. Record accurate measurements and translate measurements to ensure accurate product ordering.
3. Performing installations including site preparation and clean-up.
4. Ability to work independently and demonstrate time management skills to meet deadlines.
5. Ability to learn and use computer software.
6. Physically fit and enjoys working with hands and power tools.
7. Ability to adapt to outside weather conditions.

Required Qualifications:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
2. Valid Driver’s License-Driving Record must be in good standing.
3. Must be able to lift up to 100lbs.
4. General Carpentry experience- 2-3 years.
5. Knowledge of Windows, Doors & Hardware.
6. Knowledge of Microsoft office and ability to learn office specific software.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Knowledge and background in building material components and accessories for doors, windows, and hardware.

The qualified candidate for this position will assist the Warehouse Manager by unloading trucks, checking packing slips of shipments, and tagging material. The Warehouse Technician will pull orders for outgoing deliveries and will call customers, and will be the primary driver for deliveries. The Warehouse Technician will make regular deliveries, while keeping the focus on safe, courteous driving, timeliness and customer service.

Job Duties Include but not limited to:

1. Make efficient product deliveries and have courteous driving practices. Will off load materials at each stop while placing products per the customer’s specification.
2. Responsible to assist in management of product in the warehouse and complete general cleanup in the workshop. Use of power tools as needed.
3. Ability to become a backup to Warehouse Manager, over time with training. Specific duties include receiving of shipments, expediting of special orders, utilizing office software, etc.
4. Ability to work independently and demonstrate time management skills to meet deadlines.
5. Other general maintenance tasks as assigned – mow lawn, clear walkways of snow, minor vehicle maintenance.

Required Qualifications:

1. High School Diploma
2. Valid Driver’s License
3. Driving Record in good standing
4. Must be able to lift 100lbs

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Knowledge and background in building material components and accessories for doors, windows, and hardware.
2. Forklift experience
3. Knowledge of Microsoft office and ability to learn office specific software.
